Push-To-Talk (PTT) Switch for Icom Aviation Radios
This practical Push-To-Talk (PTT) switch easily attaches to the control column using Velcro straps, providing convenient operation during flight. Featuring a straight lead and a 3.5mm mini-jack, it connects directly to the Icom headset adapter.
Compatibility:
The PTT switch is specifically designed for the Icom IC-A6 and IC-A24e transceivers. It is also compatible with the IC-A25 series of transceivers, when used with the appropriate headset adapter.
Important Notes:
When using an external headset with any of the Icom transceivers mentioned above, an external PTT switch must be used for transmission. Pressing the onboard PTT on the Icom transceiver while a headset is connected will result in a blank carrier transmission.
