Honeycomb Aeronauticals Alpha Flight Controls is one of the most advanced control horns currently available for PC flight simulation. It has been designed to meet the needs of flight simulator users, as well as student pilots and pilots. All internal components are manufactured in aviation quality and offer a realistic flight experience with realistic ergonomics.
For aileron control, the high quality mechanics provide a realistic full 180° rotation angle with a self-centring mechanism with no deadband. In longitudinal direction, the steel shaft allows a range of motion of 15 cm. The mechanism is made entirely of metal for durability.
The yoke has a switch panel with battery and alternator switches, avionics main switch and light switches. It is equipped with a red LED backlight, making it easy to operate at night. Also present is an ignition switch, as is common on piston engine aircraft.
On the left handle are two buttons, two 2-way hat switches and a push-to-talk button, while the right handle has two more 2-way hat switches, an 8-way round-view switch and a button.
Features:
- Aviation-quality components
- Realistic ergonomics
- 180° rotation angle, self-centring
- Control panel with backlighting
- Numerous switches and buttons
- Sturdy construction
- 2-year manufacturer's warranty
- Designed and manufactured by pilots and aeronautical engineers in California.
With the Bravo Throttle Quadrant, Honeycomb Aeronautical presents a universally usable all-in-one cockpit system. The throttle quadrant allows for configurations from small single-engine planes to four-engine airliners. It supports various cockpit systems like autopilot, annunciator panel, gear switch, flaps, and trim.
The thrust levers can be configured for small single- and multi-engine planes with separate flap switches. For use in an airliner you can choose a configuration with two or four thrust levers, levers for spoiler and flaps. This will then also allow you to control the thrust reverser.
The autopilot panel includes the usual functions as can be found in commercial and GA aircraft. The annunciator panel with 14 signal lights shows the most important status and warning messages of the board systems.
Additional features are provided by the gear switch, the trim wheel, and 7 freely programmable switches so the user does not need to reach out to the keyboard as often.
