Garmin MapSource-Software offers detailed chart informations including more precisely road networks to individual countries, which can thus be brought in specific Garmin GPS-receivers. Furthermore the MapSource-Software contains an user friendly waypoint manager, with the routes and waypoints on the PC can be issued and in a Garmin GPS (except Garmin 100) which can be loaded. Metro-Guide-charts can only loaded in GPS 295, 196, StreetPilot, StreetPilot ColourMap, eMap, eTrex Legend and eTrex Vista. The GPS receiver GPS 295, 196, StreetPilot, StreetPilot ColourMap and eMap you need to have an additional Data-memory card. With the TOPO chart Germany there is a digital topographical vector object from Germany available, which can be loaded in capable GPS-devices of Garmin. It contains contour lines, streets, many hiking trailes, paths woods, lakes and mountains.
