Integrated Automatic Gain Control (AGC) automatically adjusts the noise cancellation to changing noise conditions, ensuring consistently effective ENC performance.Integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology provides clear and high-quality audio reproduction for radio communications and music. The noise-cancelling M-5B electret microphone ensures clear voice transmission and can be precisely positioned in front of the mouth using the flexible microphone boom.A key feature of the PRO-X2 is its lightweight Rest-On-Ear / On-Ear design. Unlike conventional over-ear aviation headsets, the ear seals rest on the ears rather than completely surrounding them. This keeps the headset particularly compact and lightweight. Weighing only approximately 215 g without the cable, it is ideally suited for long flights and professional use.The soft Dura-Stitched leatherette ear seals help reduce heat build-up around the ears and provide a comfortable fit. In addition, the headband features a heat-absorbing and breathable Outlast® head pad. The pivoting suspension assemblies distribute clamping pressure evenly, providing a secure and comfortable fit.Integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology allows compatible smartphones, tablets, music players and other Bluetooth® devices to be connected wirelessly to the headset. This enables phone calls as well as wireless playback of music and other audio sources.This version of the David Clark PRO-X2 features a 6-pin connector for aircraft-powered operation. In suitably equipped aircraft, the headset is powered directly by the aircraft's electrical system.
