Shell has brought on the market especially for the Sport- and Ultralight airplanes the first developed oil, only for this audience. Yet, exclusivley motorbike and motor vehicle lubricants are used, among others also Shell Advance and Shell engine oils - these oils have among others a ROTAX-clearance, the problem at these oils is (and also at "Not-Shell Oils") that the formulation of the oils can change everytime which interfere a permanent quality and composition of the additive of the oils. Because of this Shell Aviation in cooperation with ROTAX has determined to develop a special, only for the applications for ROTAX motors, aligned oil (the AeroShell Oil Sport Plus 4).
