The AIR Control Display is a brand new multifunction display. The hardware is very robust, perfect readable, even in bright sunlight and offers many functionalities. The AIR Control Display works in combination with different Radios and AIR Avionics Mode-S transponders as an remote control unit and includes an ETSO certified altimeter. The AIR Control Display is a communication talent. The unit works in combination with the new AIR COM radios as well as with radios of Becker Avionics and TQ Avionics. The radios can be installed anywhere in the cockpit and remote controlled via a cable connection. This will also work with the AIR COM radio module.If the connected radio has its own controls, these can be disabled or used as second control unit in tandem seat aircrafts. The usage of Multi AIR Control Displays offers another solution for tandem seat aircrafts. Via the integrated CANaerospace interface, the displays are kept synchronal during operation.AIR Control Display can also be used to remote control the VT-01 Mode-S/ADS-B transponder made by AIR Avionics. The transponder can be installed nearby the transponder antenna. Via a cable connection the transponder is supported with a very precise pressure signal by the AIR Control Display of the integrated alticoder. The alticoder of the AIR Control Display is a ETSO certified altimeter. In addition this altimeter can be used as standalone, easy readable altimeter gauge. Because of the latest technology without any moveable parts it is very reliable and resistant to vibrations. This offers an advantage for helicopter or self-launch glider operations. To use the unit as standalone altimeter there is only an update of the software license required which can be purchased separately. The AIR Control Display has the biggest Display in the class of 57mm units. The display is very brilliant, readable even bright sunlight, in a wide range of angles and requires very less power.
