The ICOM IC-A25NE is a high-performance 8.33 kHz VHF aviation handheld radio with integrated GPS, Bluetooth, VOR navigation and waypoint navigation functions. Integrated GPS
A key difference compared with the IC-A25CE is the integrated GPS receiver.
The IC-A25NE supports GPS as well as GLONASS and SBAS and can use the current position for various navigation functions.
Waypoint and Flight Plan Navigation
The IC-A25NE provides simplified waypoint navigation.

According to EN 300 676 this radio can be used as a ground based radio if no air navigation services are provided. For operation, a frequency allocation must be applied at the Federal Network Agency.
