Trig TC90 Controller

The Trig TC90 is the compact control head for the Trig TY91 and TY92 VHF aviation radios. It controls the remotely installed radio module and allows a particularly space-saving and flexible aviation radio installation.

The TC90 measures only approximately 44 × 63 × 35 mm, requiring very little instrument panel space.

It can be installed either in a standard 57 mm / 2¼-inch round instrument cutout or in a compact rectangular panel opening.

Ideal for Tandem Cockpits

A single TY91 or TY92 radio can be operated with two TC90 control heads.

This makes an additional TC90 particularly useful for gliders, motor gliders, training aircraft, tandem cockpits and other aircraft requiring two control positions.

Both control heads can tune frequencies and operate functions of the connected TY91 or TY92 radio.

Clear Display

The display simultaneously shows the active and standby frequencies.

This allows the pilot to see both the currently active frequency and the next prepared frequency at the same time.

Push Step

The integrated Push Step rotary control allows rapid selection of the available frequency tuning steps.

When used with a TY91 or TY92, the operator can quickly switch between 8.33 kHz and 25 kHz tuning.

Dual Watch

The TC90 also controls the Dual Watch function of the connected radio.

This allows the active and standby frequencies to be monitored simultaneously.

9 Frequency Memories

The TC90 provides 9 frequency memories.

Frequently used frequencies can be stored and quickly recalled.

Dual Control Operation

When two TC90 units are installed, essential settings are synchronised between the two control heads.

This allows the radio to be operated from both front and rear cockpit positions.
