The Flymap XL is a panel-mounted multifunction display. It combines digital aeronautical charts with an artificial horizon, synthetic vision and engine monitoring. The screen layout is configurable, allowing charts and engine data to be displayed together.
Touchscreen operation provides access to moving-map navigation with North Up or Course Up orientation, GoTo navigation and a nearest-airport function. Routes can be planned directly on the unit. Airspace warnings and terrain display complement the navigation functions.
The high-brightness display has a luminance of more than 1,500 cd/m². The unit features a black anodised aluminium housing and solid-state storage without rotating drives. A memory module connection is accessible on the front panel.
