The David Clark ONE-X is a premium aviation headset featuring Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC), Bluetooth® and the rugged construction for which David Clark is renowned. It combines powerful active noise reduction with excellent comfort and reliable communication, making it suitable for both private pilots and regular professional flight operations.

The Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC) combines active and passive noise reduction. Multiple microphones inside and outside the ear cups detect ambient noise and provide effective reduction, particularly of low-frequency cockpit and engine noise.

Integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology electronically analyzes and processes audio signals, contributing to effective noise cancellation as well as clear and natural audio reproduction.

A key feature of the ONE-X is its Dual Voice Coil Driver Technology. The dual voice coil design improves audio quality while also providing a fail-safe function: if the power supply or ENC electronics should fail, basic radio communication remains available.

For clear voice transmission, the ONE-X features the proven M-55 noise-cancelling electret microphone. The flexible microphone boom allows precise positioning in front of the mouth and can be adjusted for use on either the left or right side.

Integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology allows compatible smartphones, tablets and other Bluetooth devices to be connected wirelessly to the headset. This enables phone calls, music playback and audio alerts from compatible applications.

The Audio Mute function prioritizes important cockpit communication. When radio or intercom signals are received, the volume of a Bluetooth audio source can be automatically reduced.

For a high level of comfort, even during longer flights, the ONE-X is equipped with soft leatherette ear seals with slow-recovery foam. They conform comfortably to the shape of the head while also supporting passive noise attenuation.

The head pad features proven Outlast® technology, originally developed for NASA. The material absorbs excess heat and helps maintain a comfortable temperature under the headset. The fully adjustable headband and suspension assembly distributes clamping pressure evenly.

The ENC and Bluetooth electronics are powered by two AA batteries, providing up to 50 hours of operating time. The integrated automatic shutoff function helps conserve battery power when the headset is not in use.

This version of the David Clark ONE-X is equipped with the standard dual plugs (PJ-055 / PJ-068) commonly used in General Aviation aircraft, making it suitable for appropriately equipped aircraft.

Thanks to its foldable design, the ONE-X can be stored compactly and transported in the supplied headset bag.

The David Clark ONE-X is FAA TSO-C139a approved and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
