David Clark ONE-X, XLR-5, Bluetooth

Product information "David Clark ONE-X, XLR-5, Bluetooth"

The David Clark ONE-XP with 5-pin XLR connector and Bluetooth® is a premium aviation headset featuring Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC) and direct power supply from the aircraft's electrical system. It combines powerful active noise reduction with excellent comfort, modern Bluetooth® connectivity and the rugged construction for which David Clark is renowned.

The Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC) uses Feed-Forward and Feed-Back technology and combines active and passive noise reduction. This effectively reduces distracting cockpit, engine and aircraft noise, creating a more comfortable listening environment.

Integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology electronically processes the audio signals, providing effective noise cancellation as well as clear and high-quality audio reproduction for radio communications and music.

The Fail-Safe function ensures that basic radio communication remains available even in the event of a power failure or failure of the ENC system.

For clear voice transmission, the ONE-XP features a high-performance M-5B noise-cancelling electret microphone. The flexible microphone boom allows precise positioning of the microphone in front of the mouth.

Integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology allows compatible smartphones, tablets, music players and other Bluetooth® devices to be connected wirelessly to the headset. This enables phone calls as well as wireless playback of music and other audio sources.

The Audio Mute function prioritizes important cockpit communication. When radio or intercom signals are received, the volume of a Bluetooth® audio source is automatically reduced. Once the radio transmission has ended, the audio returns to the previously selected volume level.

For a high level of comfort, even during longer flights, the ONE-XP features soft over-ear leatherette ear seals with slow-recovery foam. The ear seals conform comfortably to the head while providing an effective seal and passive noise attenuation.

The low-profile head pad features proven Outlast® technology. The heat-absorbing and ventilated material absorbs excess heat, helping to reduce heat build-up and discomfort during longer flights.

The rugged yet lightweight alloy suspension assembly can be individually adjusted for a comfortable fit. Weighing only approximately 349 g without the cable, the ONE-XP provides excellent comfort and is particularly suitable for pilots who wear their headset for many hours at a time.

This version of the David Clark ONE-XP features a 5-pin XLR connector and, in appropriately equipped aircraft, is powered directly by the aircraft's electrical system. This eliminates the need for a separate battery power supply during normal operation.

When the headset is disconnected from the aircraft panel, the electronics can continue to operate using two AA batteries. This provides additional flexibility and allows the headset to be used without an external power supply.

The ONE-XP can be switched between Stereo and Mono operation, making it compatible with a variety of aircraft audio and intercom systems.

Thanks to its foldable design, the ONE-XP can be stored compactly and conveniently transported in the supplied David Clark headset bag.

The David Clark ONE-XP is FAA TSO-C139a approved and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
