David Clark ONE-XH

The David Clark ONE-XH is a premium aviation headset featuring Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC) and Bluetooth®, specifically designed for use in helicopters. It combines powerful active noise reduction with excellent comfort, low weight and the rugged construction for which David Clark is renowned. Even in high-noise helicopter environments, the ONE-XH provides a comfortable listening experience and clear communication.

The Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC) combines active and passive noise reduction to effectively reduce distracting cockpit, engine and rotor noise. Particularly in the high-noise environment of a helicopter cockpit, active noise cancellation contributes to improved speech intelligibility and a more comfortable flying experience.

Integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology electronically processes audio signals, providing effective noise cancellation as well as clear and high-quality audio reproduction for radio communications and additional audio sources.

For clear voice transmission, the ONE-XH features a high-performance M-55 electret microphone with enhanced noise cancellation. The microphone reduces distracting ambient noise during transmission, helping to ensure clear communication via radio and intercom.

Integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology allows compatible smartphones, tablets, music players and other Bluetooth devices to be connected wirelessly to the headset. This enables phone calls and playback of additional audio sources.

For a high level of comfort, even during longer flights, the ONE-XH is equipped with soft over-ear leatherette ear seals. The slow-recovery foam conforms comfortably to the head while providing an effective seal and passive noise attenuation.

The head pad features proven Outlast® technology. The heat-absorbing material absorbs excess heat, helping to reduce heat build-up and discomfort during longer flights.

The rugged yet lightweight alloy suspension assembly provides excellent durability while keeping weight to a minimum. Weighing only approximately 349 g without the cable, the ONE-XH provides excellent comfort and is particularly suitable for pilots who wear their headset for many hours at a time.

The ENC and Bluetooth electronics are powered by two AA batteries, providing up to 50 hours of operating time. The compact control module provides convenient control of power, Bluetooth® and volume functions.

This helicopter version of the ONE-X features an approximately 1.5 m extended coil cord with U-174/U connector. It is therefore suitable for civilian helicopters equipped with compatible high-impedance intercom systems.

Thanks to its foldable design, the ONE-XH can be stored compactly and conveniently transported in the supplied David Clark headset bag.

The David Clark ONE-XH is FAA TSO-C139a approved and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
