The David Clark PRO-X2 with 5-pin XLR connector and Bluetooth® is an exceptionally lightweight and compact aviation headset featuring Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC). It is designed for pilots who prefer a lightweight Rest-On-Ear headset without compromising on effective active noise reduction, excellent comfort and modern Bluetooth® connectivity.

The Hybrid Electronic Noise Cancellation (ENC) combines active and passive noise reduction to effectively reduce distracting cockpit and aircraft noise. Integrated Automatic Gain Control (AGC) automatically adjusts the noise cancellation to changing noise conditions, ensuring consistently effective ENC performance.

Integrated Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology provides clear and high-quality audio reproduction for radio communications and music. The noise-cancelling M-5B electret microphone ensures clear voice transmission and can be precisely positioned in front of the mouth using the flexible microphone boom.

A key feature of the PRO-X2 is its lightweight Rest-On-Ear / On-Ear design. Unlike conventional over-ear aviation headsets, the ear seals rest on the ears rather than completely surrounding them. This keeps the headset particularly compact and lightweight. Weighing only approximately 213 g without the cable, it is ideally suited for long flights and professional use.

The soft Dura-Stitched leatherette ear seals with slow-recovery foam help reduce heat build-up around the ears and provide a comfortable fit. In addition, the headband features a heat-absorbing and breathable Outlast® head pad. The pivoting suspension assemblies distribute clamping pressure evenly, providing a secure and comfortable fit.

Integrated Bluetooth® Wireless Technology allows compatible smartphones, tablets, music players and other Bluetooth® devices to be connected wirelessly to the headset. This enables phone calls as well as wireless playback of music and other audio sources.

This version of the David Clark PRO-X2 features a 5-pin XLR connector and, in appropriately equipped aircraft, is powered directly by the aircraft's electrical system. This eliminates the need for a separate battery power supply during normal operation.

The PRO-X2 can be switched between Stereo and Mono operation, making it compatible with a variety of aircraft audio and intercom systems.

Thanks to its foldable design, the PRO-X2 can be stored compactly in the supplied David Clark headset bag.

The David Clark PRO-X2 is FAA TSO-C139a approved and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
