David Clark H10-66
Product information "David Clark H10-66"
The David Clark H10-66 is an exceptionally rugged passive aviation headset featuring switchable high and low impedance. It was designed for demanding applications where the headset needs to be used with different communication and intercom systems. Thanks to its switchable impedance, the H10-66 is suitable for compatible civilian as well as military applications.
A key feature of the H10-66 is the integrated High/Low Impedance switch located on the ear cup. This allows the headset to be adapted to communication systems with different impedance requirements. This flexibility distinguishes the H10-66 from conventional civilian helicopter headsets with a fixed impedance configuration.
The H10-66 relies entirely on passive noise attenuation and requires no batteries or external power supply. The large over-ear ear cups, combined with high-quality ear seals, provide a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 27 dB, effectively reducing distracting cockpit, engine and rotor noise.
For clear and reliable voice transmission, the H10-66 features a David Clark DC-87 dynamic microphone. The noise-cancelling microphone is designed for use in high-noise environments and helps ensure clear communication via radio and intercom.
The proven Hinged Wire Boom allows precise positioning of the microphone in front of the mouth. Its rugged construction makes it particularly suitable for regular professional use.
For a high level of comfort, the H10-66 features large, undercut Comfort-Gel ear seals. They completely surround the ears and contribute significantly to the headset's effective passive noise attenuation.
The exceptionally soft foam head pad distributes the weight of the headset across the head and helps reduce uncomfortable pressure points during extended periods of use.
The rugged construction for which David Clark is renowned is designed for long service life and demanding operating conditions. This makes the H10-66 particularly suitable for professional applications where reliability and durability are essential.
The volume control located on the ear cup allows the listening volume to be adjusted quickly and easily.
This version of the H10-66 features an approximately 1.5 m / 5 ft. extended coil cord with U-174/U connector.
The David Clark H10-66 is made in the USA and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
