The SL-40 is a passive aviation headset with an adjustable headband, soft foam head pad and liquid-filled ear seals. This version includes a headset bag for storage and transport.
The noise-cancelling electret microphone is mounted on an adjustable boom for individual positioning in front of the mouth. Listening volume can be adjusted directly using the control on the left ear cup.
Metal components feature a triple surface treatment for corrosion protection. Two standard aviation plugs made of brass connect the headset to the aircraft audio or intercom system. Weight without the connection cable is approximately 440 g.
