The EPOS COMMAND HME 130 is a rugged passive aviation headset designed for pilots who require effective passive noise attenuation, clear voice transmission and reliable operation without batteries or active electronics. The HME 130 is part of the professional EPOS COMMAND series and combines rugged construction with advanced speaker and microphone technology. Particular emphasis has been placed on clear speech transmission and reproduction as well as effective isolation from distracting ambient noise.

The closed, circumaural ear cups provide passive noise attenuation of up to 40 dB at 1 kHz. This effectively reduces distracting cockpit and ambient noise without requiring active noise cancellation or an additional power supply.

Especially in noisy cockpit environments, the high level of passive noise attenuation helps improve the intelligibility of radio and intercom communications while reducing acoustic fatigue during flight.

For clear and reliable voice transmission, the COMMAND HME 130 features a noise-compensated bidirectional electret microphone. In combination with EPOS Voice™ technology, the microphone system is designed to provide precise speech pickup and excellent intelligibility even in environments with high background noise.

The flexible 21 cm microphone boom allows precise positioning of the microphone directly in front of the mouth. The boom can be swivelled, allowing the microphone to be worn on either the left or right side.

The large, closed ear cups are equipped with soft leatherette ear pads. The circumaural design completely surrounds the ears, providing a consistent seal and contributing significantly to the headset's high passive noise attenuation.

The adjustable, padded headband allows the headset to be individually adapted to the user and, together with the soft ear pads, provides a secure and comfortable fit.

The high-quality dynamic speakers feature a frequency response of 60 to 17,000 Hz and an impedance of 300 Ohms. This provides clear and precise reproduction of speech and audio signals.

The integrated volume control on the ear cup allows the listening level to be adjusted quickly and easily.

The headset operates entirely passively and requires no batteries or separate power supply, making it simple and reliable for everyday aviation use.

This version of the COMMAND HME 130 features an approximately 1.5 m connection cable with standard GA dual plugs. The headphones connect via a 6.35 mm jack plug, while the microphone uses a 5.25 mm jack plug.
