Telex Airman 850 ANR, GA-Plug

The Telex Airman 850 ANR is a lightweight aviation headset with active noise reduction for cockpit communications. Its ANR system is designed to reduce wind noise in jet cockpits, providing up to 12 dB of additional attenuation between 100 and 2,000 Hz.

Active noise reduction is powered by the microphone bias supplied by the connected audio system. No batteries or separate power connection are required. Continuous power through the microphone connection is essential for ANR operation.

The amplified noise-cancelling electret microphone supports clear voice transmission. Its flexible boom allows individual positioning and can be worn on either side of the head. Height-adjustable earphones and soft cushions with synthetic leather covers allow the fit to be tailored to the wearer.

This version features GA dual plugs with separate headphone and microphone connections. Active noise reduction can be switched on or off, while a “Hi/Low” switch provides two listening-volume settings.

Connection note
