David Clark H10-13.4
Product information "David Clark H10-13.4"
The David Clark H10-13.4 is one of the best-known and most proven passive aviation headsets for General Aviation. Its rugged construction, effective passive noise attenuation and high level of comfort have made the H10-13.4 one of David Clark's most popular classic pilot headsets for many years.
Unlike active ANR or ENC headsets, the H10-13.4 relies entirely on passive noise attenuation and therefore requires no batteries or external power supply. The large, over-ear ear cups and high-quality ear seals provide a certified Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 23 dB, effectively reducing distracting cockpit, engine and aircraft noise.
For clear and reliable voice transmission, the H10-13.4 features the proven David Clark M-7A noise-cancelling electret microphone. The microphone reduces distracting ambient noise during transmission, helping to ensure clear communication via radio and intercom.
The Universal Flex Boom allows easy and precise positioning of the microphone directly in front of the mouth. The flexible microphone boom can be individually adjusted and reliably maintains its position.
For a high level of comfort, the H10-13.4 is equipped with proven Comfort-Gel ear seals. The large, undercut ear seals completely surround the ears while also contributing significantly to the headset's passive noise attenuation.
The exceptionally soft, double-foam head pad distributes the weight of the headset evenly across the head and helps reduce uncomfortable pressure points, even during longer flights.
The rugged construction with a steel headband and durable ABS ear cups is designed for long service life and regular cockpit use. The connection cable is also designed to withstand high levels of pulling and bending stress.
The volume control located on the outside of the ear cup allows the listening volume to be adjusted quickly and easily.
This version of the H10-13.4 features the standard PJ-055 and PJ-068 dual plugs commonly used in General Aviation aircraft, together with an approximately 1.5 m straight connection cable.
The David Clark H10-13.4 is FAA TSO C57b and C58a approved, exceeds RTCA/DO-214 standards and comes with a 5-year manufacturer's warranty.
