AIR Traffic Main Unit: The new AIR Traffic Main Unit is a collision avoidance system. The unit transmits and receives FLARM® data via the latest PowerFLARM technology. With its two antennas and antenna diversity it also receives ADS-B data (ADS-B IN) and signals of Mode-S transponders.
The flexible interface concept allows seamless integration in existing cockpit environments. It can be used with a wide range of display units (e.g. AIR Traffic Display) and navigation systems (GARMIN GTN®) or via the integrated WiFi function in combination with Apps on smartphones or tablets.
The AIR Traffic unit is small, requires little power and is easy to install. It can be mounted anywhere in the cockpit. To show the traffic information to the pilot the main unit can be connect to either existing avionics or directly to an AIR Traffic Display. Minor Changes and EASA Standard Changes are available and allow a legal installation in hundreds of aircrafts.
Functions:
Transmits and receives FLARM® data. There are more than 35.000 FLARM® users worldwide.
Receives ADS-B und Mode-S transponder signals (Mode-S transponder targets only available with vertical- and lateral distance, direction unknown)
Reliable warnings to potential hazardous traffic, obstacles (optional database required) and alarm zones.
Transmits GPS- and traffic data to a wide range of compatible avionics, navigation systems and Apps.
Any number of data channels simultaneously possible within one aircraft.

AIR Traffic Display: The AIR Traffic Display is a new display system to bring up air traffic information to the pilot. The hardware is very robust, perfect readable, even in bright sunlight and offers many functionalities to assist the pilot in collision avoidance. It can be used as display system for many other collision avoidance system e.g. TRX-, FLARM- or PowerFLARM-units.
