The displaycover is designed for use with the panel mount bracket. It allows the Garmin GPSMAP 695 / 696 to be protected against damage or theft. The protection can be removed easily and without tools prior using the GPS. By e.g. a securitylock, the cover can also be easily secured from unauthorized removal.
